From a Brisbane kitchen brainstorm to a nationally loved cocktail brand.
It started with Stanley — a 1972 Commer Highwayman van I converted into a mobile margarita bar.
I founded Margarita Margarita in 2020 as an events and weddings service, slinging cocktails out of Stanley at every kind of celebration. From there it grew into something I never quite planned: a nationally stocked cocktail mixer range, sold through 90+ stockists, alongside a thriving events arm and a team of staff. By the time I exited in March 2025, it had become one of Australia's leading cocktail mixer brands — all built from a wild idea, a cute vintage van and a very good Marg recipe.


Margarita Margarita began as a tequila-fuelled brainstorming session in my Brisbane kitchen, after yet another batch of what I believed were the best* Margs ever made. I set out to create a brand that could bring premium, flawless Margs to any celebration — ensuring no one ever had to settle for an average Margarita again.
What started with Stanley as one mobile Margarita bar quickly grew into a nationally recognised brand with both an events and retail presence, including:
